Teaser Tuesday: Carniepunk anthology

I'm just starting the Carniepunk anthology (urban fantasy), so my teaser this week is the very first two sentences of the book. And they are definitely two memorable sentences :)

Book Description:

The traveling carnival is a leftover of a bygone era, a curiosity lurking on the outskirts of town.
