Question of the Week: Who popped your erotic cherry? ;) What was the first erotic or erotic romance book you read? And if you don't read erotica, what book had the first graphic love scene that you read?
In high school I fell in love with Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. Having a life-long love affair with fairytales, I eagerly purchased Rice's Sleeping Beauty trilogy set (
The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty,
Beauty's Punishment, and
Beauty's Release), written as A. N. Rolquelaure, without actually paying attention to what the books were. Needless to say, these books were one hell of an eye-opener. They're straight up erotica and probably the most twisted, bizarre erotica books I've ever read. They're like a train wreck that you can't look away from, so even though they're not good, I have fond "WTF?" memories of these three stories. LOL.

You know I have always been told her books were good but I have never actually read any of them. I will have to add them to my growing TBR pile.
I read this too--but wasn't a huge fan of it.
